This stunning Maritime Blue 964 RSR replica had a racing career in Angola. It was then brought to South Africa, where it was stripped to the bare shell and rebuilt with the best parts money could buy. The paintwork was done by Renewit panel beaters, the roll cage was updated to full factory spec and the body was checked on a jig. All panels were lightened wherever possible and while a shatterproof windscreen was retained all other windows are lightweight poly carb units. H&R suspension and 993 turbo brakes were fitted, AP peddle box and brake balance takes care of the corners and stopping. The G50 gearbox was rebuilt in Switzerland and refitted in conjunction with B&M short shift kit. The 3.8 engine had the same attention lavished on it with JE forged pistons, 140mm perfect bore barrels, Carrillo rods, ported heads, and Vander Linde cams. There is too much to detail here but a full spec is available on request. Offers of R1.1 Million will be considered. This is a fraction of the build price. The Vehicle is available to view by appointment at “The Car Vault”, A division of Haval Edenvale.
